Shepherding Clouds Watcher

Sky Invasion Series- Episode 2

She looked up at the clouds,

As she shepherded her sheep,

Across the lush grassy plains,

Through the sun and the rains.

The clouds always followed her,

Wherever she went on those plains.

June always felt that she was watched,

By the watchers of the blue skies,

Beyond the world where the mystery lies.

In the night those watchers in the skies,

Watched her with a million shiny eyes.

June had the vision and the sight,

She saw the future every night,

It was filled with sadness and plight.

The future was not bright and gold,

It was a future most terrible to hold.

June knew that the watchers in the skies,

Were not friends but deadly dreadful foes,

Beings with the type of evil no one knows,

From across the stars, from planets untold,

Destroying life in terror to behold.

The future was bleak and dark,

The future was evil and cold,

It was covered in blood and gore,

Which was dangerous and dark,

It was loud and threatening like a dog’s bark.

The dark future is coming to the land,

It is all part of the extra-terrestrial plan,

Covering cities, mountains, and valleys,

Killing all life, human, animals, birds, and bees.

One night the skies opened,

As June slept in her warm bed,

She was abducted in the dark of night,

As her husband and three children,

Slept in their warm beds in the depths of sleep,

In the deepest dreams and nightmares to keep.

The watchers in the darkening skies,

Were visitors from a planet far away,

Collecting specimens for plans so dark,

As dangerous as a killer shark.
