She Wants a Treat

6 Word Photo Story Challenge

Sweet treats for you to eat.

This Texas White-tail Doe was not afraid to walk right up to me every time she saw me outside for several years. I knew it was her because she had a distinctive notch in one ear. She was older and only 2 years did I see her with her young one. She must have died as it has been several years since she has come around.

She ALWAYS wanted a treat to eat from my hand and was careful about how she took it from me. In this photo, her treat was a piece of pound cake. And NO, I don’t make it a habit to hand feed the deer. They only get a few kitchen scraps thrown out for them and the foxes that hang around.

Tooth Truth Roopa Vikesh tagged me for this 6 word photo story challenge. I am challenging myself to post six photo stories. It’s fun. This is number 2.

The original challenge is from Mary Chang Story Writer. Thank you for a fun idea and great way to use personal photos!

I tag Annelise Lords and Judy McLain to participate in the challenge.
