She Remembers
A poem
She remembers All the calm rhythms of your conversations All the sweet melodies of our laughter All the comfort in-between your silent moments.
She remembers When you wrap your arms around her shoulder When you caress her cheeks and kiss her soft lips When you put your head on her neck to feel home.
She remembers Your look, long eyelashes, black eyes Speaking the inexpressible when your lips are sealed She remembers, she closes her eyes, she knows.
