Love, Pregnancy,
She Is Glowing
Poetry Prompt: love; Acrostic Poem

Search for sunrise in her eyes Hark to attention; maternalize Embryotic flow; tranquility Internal glow; fertility Skin so dewy; complexion glistens Gracious aura; the world listens Love on board, a little one Of the womb, a mother’s son Wield the glory; stay the course Innocence; our love-light source Nine months later, welcome love Glowing still, she thanks above
My Acrostic style poem responds to Sahil Patel’s first poetry prompt for August: Love.
I tried something a little different by making my Acrostic rhyme!
I wrote about a pregnant mother, and the “glow” society often associates with her. This glow, I interpret as the unconditional bonding of love between mother and child. This light or glow is a precious and irreplaceable gift to humanity.
Thank you, Sahil, for continuing to provide poets with beautiful prompts. You are appreciated! 😊
