Walk this way . . .

He said, “You’re going to have to walk with a cane until you can get your balance issues under control.” That was my physical therapist talking five months ago. He was right.
After four sessions of P.T. and a lot of work at home and on short trips, I still have to take my cane with me for a different reason.
In the process of many surgeries, a nerve was damaged, and on some days, I can walk; on others, not so much.
At 76 years young, every day is a gift that I’m grateful for all the time. Giving up because I have to have a cane with me, It’s not an option. The advice of my father-in-law is still the best.
