Shameless Hacker Added 2 Odd CTA Links to Your Stories

Something weird happened today about Medium. I found 2 calls to action links that I did not add.

The crazy thing is that it is a self-published article without any publication. So it couldn’t be an editor that added those links.

The matter gets more bizarre. My investigation leads to an account that promotes artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The 2 Odd CTA Links

In fact, the links are to subscribe to a Newsletter and use a page that organizes your readings.

As you can imagine. When I read “Artificial Intelligence” and “Machine Learning,” I thought of a Hacker.

But why would a Hacker try to manipulate my medium account and place CTA links?
