Shadows of the Soul
Embracing the Darkness

In the shadows of the night, Where darkness reigns supreme, A world of terror and fright, A place where nightmares dream.
The blackness swallows all, A void that knows no light, The darkness is enthralled, By the absence of sight.
The silence here is deafening, A void of sound and noise, Where whispers are menacing, And voices are just white noise.
The darkness is a master, Of fear and of despair, It is a ruthless caster, Of anguish and nightmare.
In the depths of this abyss, The light of hope is rare, But even in this darkness, There’s always someone there.
So let the shadows fall, And let the night prevail, For in the darkness of it all, The light will never fail.
In the depths of despair, Where hope is but a dream, The darkness is everywhere, And nothing’s as it seems.
The world is just a facade, A mask of lies and deceit, The truth is a mirage, A vision we can’t quite meet.
The darkness is a monster, A creature from the abyss, It feeds on pain and sorrow, And craves the taste of bliss.
But even in this chaos, A glimmer of light can be found, A spark of hope and courage, That lifts us off the ground.
So don’t give in to the darkness, And don’t let it consume your soul, For even in this starkness, The light will make you whole.
