Shades of Love
A sonnet about how the heart knows love, despite color.
More than a billion people are living, Divided into many ethnic groups. That’s much love available for giving. Break the love rules, then some call in the troops.
Blacks, Whites, Asians, Mexicans, and others, All different backgrounds, yet all human. Seems to be a crime among the haters. Real love shouldn’t be treated like poison.
The heart is fragile, but knows what it wants. We should date, love, and marry our soulmate. Love overrules any hateful response. Be open-minded so you can relate.
Regardless your skin color, love is love. Be with the person you always dream of.
