Vision of my eye, you are all that I can see, the thought of my mind and the red ink to my pen, that flows all along with me.

Colour of my soul, is the one that bleeds for you, of red undertones turning purely transparent, as it becomes one with you.

As I sat thinking of Haiku’s for the par excellence writers at ILLUMINATION & Illumination Curated, I started with this tanka on my favourite person — my poetic inspiration, my hubby. I loved writing this and have even decided to add this poem to my upcoming book of poems “Diary of love”.I hope you too enjoy reading it.
