Sexy Santa came early in the form of my receiving 100+ Medium followers. Yeahhh!!!

Thanks to this article by Ayoub Bouamri ‘https://readmedium.com/i-will-help-you-to-get-100-followers-in-24-hours-191c74edfaa2’ I realized the Medium program rules are changing and I would have to have 100 Followers by the end of December to remain in the Partner Program.

In Ayoub Bouamri’s article, he offered a BONUS ‘hand up’…not a ‘hand out’ to anyone needing to get to the 100 follower mark, stating he would follow you. See my similar BONUS offer below.

I was at 35 followers and the end of December was rapidly approaching. After following different tips on Medium to get to 100 followers, in just 8 days, I was finally over the 100 followers mark.

Here are tips on getting to your first 100.

(1) Write consistently. You decide on your schedule. I made a goal to write and publish daily, but unfortunately, this didn’t work for me after 4 days. Maybe I should make that a goal for the new year.

(2) Ask others to follow you. When I noticed those with less than 100 followers asking others to follow them, I made it a point to follow them and ask for a reciprocal follow back.

(3) Follow others back to help build the community (an extension of #2 above).

(4) Don’t just clap for a person…respond to their article. Leave some words of encouragement or let the author know what you liked about their article.

(5) Did you really enjoy their article? Don’t just clap once…give them up to 50 claps. Be generous.

(6) When someone takes the time to leave you a message or response, generate the community goodwill by responding back.

Perform a search for ‘100 followers’, and you will find there are lots of great tips on this platform.
