Summary

The provided content discusses the Tao Te Ching's perspective on sexual relationships, suggesting that men can absorb women's vital energy (jing and qi) during sex, potentially extending their own lives at the expense of women's well-being.

Abstract

The article delves into the ancient Chinese philosophy of the Tao Te Ching, particularly its teachings on sexual practices. It highlights the risks women face when engaging in sexual activity with men, including unwanted pregnancy, diseases, and emotional manipulation. The Taoist view adds another layer of concern, positing that men can extend their lifespans by absorbing a woman's life force energy (jing and qi) during intercourse. This concept is described as a "battle of stealing and strengthening," where men are advised to avoid ejaculation while inducing female orgasm to absorb the woman's essence. The text also references historical shifts in Taoist sexual practices, noting that earlier harmonious yin-yang communion was later corrupted into a more predatory approach. The article questions the scientific validity of these philosophical ideas but acknowledges studies showing that married men, who presumably engage in regular sexual activity, tend to live longer. The author concludes by humorously advising women to consider what they gain from sexual encounters, given the potential cost to their life force.

Opinions

  • The author implies that traditional Taoist sexual philosophy is inherently imbalanced and potentially exploitative towards women.
  • There is a skeptical view of the scientific basis behind the Taoist concept of absorbing life force energy through sex.
  • The article suggests a cautious approach to sexual relationships, with an emphasis on mutual benefit rather than a one-sided advantage.
  • The author uses humor to address a serious topic, potentially to make the information more accessible or to soften the critique of traditional sexual practices.
  • There is an underlying message that women should be aware of and protect their own interests in sexual encounters, rather than solely focusing on the man's pleasure or societal expectations.
  • The text hints at a critique of modern societal norms, where the idea of women waiting to have sex is seen as "disempowering," without considering the potential costs involved.

Sex and the “Tao Te Ching”

They are stealing your soul through your…

I don’t remember what I was researching,

…but I am always researching strange things, like the ancient Chinese philosophical text, the Tao Te Ching…and I learned a little something interesting about Taoist sexual philosophy.

Women take a lot of risk when we have sex with men. Namely…

  1. Unwanted pregnancy
  2. Diseases
  3. His possibly taking advantage of you while you’re vulnerable.
  4. His dumping you right after he gets what he wants
  5. Ruining your reputation
  6. Having lame sex
  7. Having lame sex with some kind of red pill
  8. He likes the sex too much and won’t leave you alone
  9. No Tangibles

And according to the Tao Te Ching there’s another negative for women having sex with men.

He can suck your life force energy out through your vagina…

Women also helped men extend their lives. Many of the ancient texts were dedicated explanations of how a man could use sex to extend his own life but, his life was extended only through the absorption of the woman’s vital energies (jing and qi).

So according to some ancient Taoist text, men extend their lives by absorbing women's vital energies!

QUE?! And how do they do that?

Some Taoists came to call the act of sex “the battle of stealing and strengthening”.[20] These sexual methods could be correlated with Taoist military methods. Instead of storming the gates, the battle was a series of feints and maneuvers that would sap the enemy’s resistance.[21]

So they absorb (suck) a woman's vital energy through sex.

Fang described this battle as “the ideal was for a man to ‘defeat’ the ‘enemy’ in the sexual ‘battle’ by keeping himself under complete control so as not to emit semen, while at the same time exciting the woman until she reached orgasm and shed her Yin essence, which was then absorbed by the man.”[22]

Well, a lot of you ladies may have breathed a sigh of relief, right there. There’s a lot of sex going on but not a lot of orgasming for women. 😂

In any case, this is all silly philosophy, right? There’s no scientific truth behind it, is there?

But hasn’t science already proven that married men live LONGER lives? Maybe they are getting some of that life force energy from their wives.

Men who have sex with women also live longer lives than men who are not having sex. However, they do not live longer then married men.

Married men are the longevity winners of men!

Jolan Chang points out that it was after the Tang dynasty (AD 618–906) that “the Tao of Loving” was “steadily corrupted”, and that it was these later corruptions that reflected battle imagery and elements of a “vampire” mindset.[23] Other research into early Taoism found more harmonious attitudes of yin-yang communion.[24]

So ya’ll ladies talking about waiting to have sex with men is “disempowering” or whatever. Meanwhile, you're bustin’ it open and he’s stealing all your JING!

At least make sure he’s giving you more than dinner and movie before you give him that life extending JING.

Give me some JING and let me know your thoughts in the comments! 😂
