Setting Intentions for 2022
May Lead to Me Leaving Medium

I have believed in the power of the mind for quite some time. From the Bible to The Secret, I have enough written word to confirm the mind is powerful and our lives are the results of our thoughts. I’ve also learned that my emotions are the results of my thoughts and together they create my state of being (energy), which results in the good or bad of my life.
Today, I take charge.
It is more than just knowing the power of my mind but using it. It is like having a dollar in the bank and not making that dollar work for you. What good is my power if I don’t use it and make it work for me?
Today, I am using my mind to master my body and my life — to command that which I desire. I walk as though I have it because my mind tells me I do. (The body doesn’t know the difference of the event happening or the mind telling it the event happened.) I work as though it is already mine because my state of being/energy attracts it to me.
I am the author of three books that publish in 2022.
I generate a net income of at least $10,000 every month.
I consistently produce impactful content for my audience.
That last one may seem like it is for Medium. It may, but when I wrote it, I thought about another avenue that I have started and is the bridge to my success. It puts me on the map. So, I intentionally devote more time to it and my books to not only generate the income but generate the fulfillment of obeying God’s will for my life and fulfilling my calling.
Writing comes easily to me, especially when writing Medium articles. So, I will likely chime in with an article here and there in 2022, but it will likely not be as often as it was during these six months in 2021 because, as I stated in my last article, I don’t see the return on investment. The time, creativity, thoughts, and energy can be better invested in my books and content. As I become disciplined with my schedule — merging my calling with a new career— I will see how I fit Medium into the schedule. By March, if it is not looking favorable, as in I don’t make enough money to pay for the membership, then I may exit the partner program to save those $5 a month for a tank of gas.
Do you know the power you have in your mind and how you can master your life? It is very liberating and empowering.
If not, I suggest you: > Read The Secret, > Do some Dr. Joe Dispenza meditations (here’s a short one to start; remember to feel), and > Read Marianne Williamson’s poem, Our Deepest Fear.
What intentions are you setting for 2022? Let me know in the comments!
Note, intentions are different from goals. Intentions are more about the mindset and purpose behind the goal. For example, I intend to use the power of my mind to be in command of my life to accomplish the goals of publishing three books in 2022 and being a consistent, impactful content creator. That same intention can be applied to diet and exercise goals or friendship goals. Intentions are the umbrella needed to shelter the goals in the time of the storm. Your why/purpose will keep you going.
