Feeling of used and celebrated engulfed my bosom How selfish am I to the spring meant to blossom
Alas!
The skin shrink The eyes bunk
The shoe of my soul cried aloud Attention! Fortify!
Save me from “fame destruction.” But the applause kept rolling from the congregation.
Wining! Dining! Were their chorus of deceit
Attractions! Distractions! The self-defeat victor Sojourn in emotional cloud-wreck
Is it self-love? Is it self-hate?
