Serial Story Review “Timbre’s Tapestry”
Chapters 1–3

Since I can’t post the chapters onto Medium whole cloth, I have decided I will do summary style reviews of my story Timbre’s Tapestry, which I have been releasing onto Kindle Vella, to both make a little (very little according to the new monetization system) money on here with it and possibly drum up a few readers.
The story opens with the female protagonist, Timbre, gathering some wood for her family’s morning use before heading back through town and grabbing a bit of breakfast with some of her pittance of a paycheck. Frito, one of the young men in town, runs a food stall. He is one of the only people in town Timbre interacts with regularly since she works at the fine goods shop The Dazzling Dungeon, spinning and weaving the wool that makes them famous and keeps them in business. He tries to be friendly but gets so little time to talk to her.
The Dazzling Dungeon may sell amulets and potions, but their wool trade with Belfry Heights, the Capital of Langrisha’a, was their real business. The spinners' wool comes from what is rumored to be Langrisha’as only flock of emerald sheep. The wool is a gorgeous green, whisper-soft, and unbeatably durable.
We are given a glimpse of the town Timbre and The Dazzling Dungeon reside in, Downey Ridge and take a stroll with her on her morning outing before she returns to the dungeon.
These first three chapters are free; you can read them now on Kindle Vella to decide if you want to keep reading the rest. I will also post more reviews of subsequent chapters so you can decide if the story continues in a way you want to follow.
Kindle Vella is a serial story platform like Wattpad, where you can publish and read chapters or short chunks of longer ongoing stories from 600–6000 words at a time. Check it out!
