Sepulcher of light
A poem about your shadow, love and self-growth.
Love, the one love, have you felt this feeling? Emotion, connection, without explanation The sun shines and gives life to our beautiful Earth As all beings are full of potential and worth
Such love is not willed, it goes of its own Deep within you a sun and a place that you’ve grown “What’s become of it?
OH, how you tend to your home…”
‘Dark, meandering meadow, soaring shape of crow “Seek death or life when you’re flying so low?” You see frightening sepulchers of your soul’s light “You’ll get what you sew in this hellish afterlife”
“Looking to fill your many foolish desires No regard for the love that, for you, transpires This callous fool, blind in seeking such ire See’s but rotting bark and soul’s dead flowers”
“OH, shapeshifter, finally you've noticed and seen…”
Gnawing open your old scars in heart cauterized Your Shadow guides darkness out of old lies When a sliver of light from inside you avails “Ah, such splendor,do take a gander: life’s warm trails”’
