Separated by Death: The Twin Flame Journey Doesn’t End

Your awakenings have just begun and your path goes on

Have you met your twin flame? This is a person whose very presence (and sometimes, absence) in your life pushes you to a higher level of consciousness. They may also draw you toward them in a whirlwind of passionate attraction and very likely, they open you up to a new level of love — particularly, self-love. When you experience twin flame separation, you feel quite alone and you question the point of twin flames when you aren’t able to be together. But even after uniting, it is likely that one twin will “leave” the other behind in physical reality when they’re separated by life and death.

We all die. It will happen one day.

Death is the end of the person’s story in this one lifetime, but it’s not the end of the person. The spark of life lives on eternally.

Remember, the journey is yours, and not about someone else. Your path does not depend on someone else’s existence. Unexpected things will happen, always.

Everything happens for a reason. When we find ourselves “alone” in this realm, separated by death from the one we love, there are still miracles to be had. Life on Earth still has meaning. After the grief of loss subsides, we see things more clearly.

Our souls came here to learn something that we could never experience in nonphysical form. We needed to experience separation so that we could understand what love and oneness really mean. Reaching toward one another, we remember what it’s like to be connected to other souls without barriers. When we experience loss or tragic events we can’t understand fully because they seem so cruel, we are forced to face our eternal souls to make sense of it. To escape despair, we must look upwards to something greater than ourselves and this life. Something bigger than this one short-lived existence must be behind all the strangeness we experience here on Earth, right?

Here’s what I’ve learned since the death of my beautiful twin flame.

The Point of the Journey Is to Know True Love

Life is about finding our way back to the light. To oneness. To love. But we come here in blindness and with no recollection of that bliss we’ve incarnated from. Our challenge is to find the love again, even in the face of total hopelessness.

Twin flames come into our lives to show us that true love is possible. Total bliss is possible on Earth. The meeting of the two flames abruptly hits us with some remembrance of our eternal nature. This person who has entered our path can’t possibly just be “another normal person” because our souls are screaming out to us through our hearts that this is a very significant soul mate. Our inner knowledge is undeniable with twin flames. To others, it seems like a really obsessive love, a crazy story, and sometimes, even an abusive relationship. But something much bigger is going on spiritually.

That spark of memory beyond this one lifetime wakes you up. You start to remember that the whole point was to know true love and find your way back to oneness. With this burning feeling inside you toward this person, you have found the compass that points you toward the true goal here: love. Fearless love.

What a gift.

Even when this person passes into the next realm and you feel like you’ve been left on this plane alone, you still have that gift. Not many people have the privilege to know true love and the real reason we’re all here.

Developing Powers and Learning About the Self

With or without your twin flame physically near, you have been given the ability to fully self-reflect. Having met a person who so perfectly mirrors your love for life and all of your insecurities, you can start on a self-love journey that is highly spiritual. You can unlock psychic powers and a heightened understanding of the energies that surround us.

So, when the twin flame physical connection ends, all of the most important parts of the relationship continue on. You are equipped far better than most other humans to understand yourself and the meaning of life.

You can heal yourself so well because you know yourself so well now. You can guide yourself on the path you know you’re meant to walk. you don’t need another person, even your twin flame, to help you on this journey.

The Greatest Soul Lessons Come From Human Pain

Sometimes tragedy happens to teach us life lessons. Not sometimes. All the time. Some say that we plan all of these lessons before birth as souls. We make soul contracts to complete certain missions. To meet certain people.

Your twin flame is not the only soul you’re destined to meet in this life. All meetings are divinely guided for some good reason. Nothing is an accident.

All losses, gains, miracles, tragedies, and situations are put on your path for a reason.

That reason is to learn. You can never understand love fully if it’s guaranteed to stay. You can never understand bliss unless you know pain. Being human gives us the ability to know these dualities. Our souls wanted to come here and experience all the colors on the spectrum of emotion so that we could return with a greater wisdom of our eternal nature.

Human existence is insane, but hey, it’s serving a really important purpose in healing the universe.

Death Isn’t the End Anyway

When someone dies, they aren’t gone. They just return to a nonphysical plane of existence. They are still around. You can communicate with them and they are still able to interact with you in weird ways.

So, when your twin flame dies, they return to their purest form. They’ve always been on the astral plane with you — both of your souls sit there side by side. If they’re in spirit form, they haven’t left. They’re still part of your wild and crazy human journey. The love lives on.

Twin Flames Are Eternal

The twin flame journey doesn’t end. You have so much to do in your life to elevate yourself and others, whether or not your twin flame is physically with you. There is little difference between the twin flame separation when you are both alive on Earth and the separation you experience by the event of death. Both of you are still real, and you both have a mission together.

Individuals have missions, too. It matters little if the other twin is present. You can do so much good on this planet with or without them.

You can love again. You can love others. There’s enough love in your heart to go around.

I heard my twin tell me in my intuition, “this life goes by in the blink of an eye, and you’ll be here with me before you know it.” It’s not a lot to ask to keep living so that you can work out some of that karma and reach some of those goals you came here for. But it can take a lot of inner strength and courage. that’s part of what you came here to learn to do.

Sometimes it just takes a look at the larger picture to fully understand and to regain your footing in life.
