This year I decided to make a special celebration cake for Christmas. It was a new creation and I learned some different skills.

It took several hours and some trial and error to figure out, but in the end, it shines with a smile.

While making my own fondant and creating chocolate panda ears, I pondered how this year went by in a flash of brightness. Each step in making this cake took me down memory lane.

I thank everyone for their time, effort, and support as we all find our way in this world of creativity. We all came here to shine, and we guide each other along the way.

May you all smile and dance with cheer this holiday. My gift to you is a torch to illuminate a path to grow and prosper into the new year.

Today I want to share an essay about gratitude by my friend John C. Davis. He shares with us the most beautiful things in life to be grateful for. Thank you, John, for sharing your life’s treasures with us!
