Self-Awareness Will Save the World
Your superpower is your knowing yourself

A lot of crap has happened throughout human history. Silly, scarring things that might never have happened had those involved been a little more self-aware.
That’s the issue with humanity. It’s not what we’re missing, what we’re bad at that holds us back, it’s our lack of awareness of these things. We just don’t know ourselves.
But if we did, if we knew who we were — our powers and our kryptonites — then we’d know how to apply them to life. We’d notice when our nasty habits are getting in the way. We’d see how our skills are improving. We’d be aware of our self.
And with awareness comes resolution. When you’re being authentic, it’s easy to spot when something doesn’t quite belong to your brand — and then fix it.
Maybe we’d know Trump as nothing more than a successful businessman with a dodgy tan, if only he’d been less self-absorbed and more self-aware.
Oh hey, whilst you’re here: why not put the “em” into your “emails” and lob your name onto my mailing list for weekly em-bellishments on my rose-tinted, crumb-coated lens of life. It’s the equivalent of the reduced section in the supermarket (low value Weird Crap™ that you didn’t know you needed).
