Seekers of Magic
A lesson in the garden on a moonless night.
Magical beings…

The trails in the garden sparkle as though made out of glitters. Twists and turns led to a pavilion that stopped short right before the lake, where waters in the lake reflected the night sky above.
From the reflection, stars seem to be lying at the bottom of the lake, fast asleep. Yet only look up and you’ll see that they were anything but sleeping.
In the moonless night and with nothing else stealing the limelight, stars aplenty twinkle as they own the night. Like little dancers spread out on the stage, shining as they dance.
If you listen carefully, you will hear the universe speaking. Does being in the light mean you are shining bright? Does a period in the night mean perpetual darkness?
But even without the moon, stars remain in the sky, and as a little when put together becomes much, so a constellation of stars is as powerful as the moon, lighting up every path.
Taking a cue from the stars, we are, therefore, rebels of the dark. Seekers of magic, if you will — for there at the end of the tunnel, we always find the light waiting. In moments of darkness and living through the pains, we emerge stronger than before. Though Life is no bed of roses, bearers of light we are.
On a moonless night, it seems as if the stars are stealing the limelight. Perhaps it happens because it is a moment for the stars to shine? Perhaps we are the moon, stepping away from the sky, seeking magic from the earth, and shining our element while we are here.
…and within us, is where magic comes from.
