Masculine and Feminine Energy

Masculine and Feminine Energy, How It Affects Relationships

Understanding the balance and dynamics of opposing forces in partnerships

A topic I have been talking a lot about lately with different people is the shift in masculinity and femininity, and how it affects relationships. Every day honestly in some form I end up talking about it. I’m growing to learn everyone has it misconstrued on many levels.

I have seen how the changing gender roles in society can create a huge strain on relationships. People tend to get confused about who does what. the traditional notion of what is masculine and feminine has evolved drastically over the last few years. While this shift in gender roles is somewhat positive, it can still impact relationships in some pretty bad ways.

For instance, societal expectations for what a "man" or "woman" should be often leaves many couples uncertain about how to balance their masculine and feminine energy. Unfortunately, this lack of understanding of what these two energies represent can lead to one partner feeling overwhelmed by the other, and the relationship can suffer.

Is everyone ready to know the two energies? So let's first go back to the beginning of time. Women are love and men are logic. Women deal with emotions more than men do. Since men don't do emotions we see more of a bigger picture to things. That's why we usually lead. It must be earned as well. We all know by now everyone can't lead. Let's get down to the two energies.

Masculine and feminine energy refers to characteristics that are traditionally considered "masculine" or "feminine." These energies are dependent on one’s gender identity but can arise from the opposing energy. These energies rather are traits that can be present in people of all genders. It’s simple math, the two can greatly affect each other. Everyone has their own belief but we know the truth.

Masculine energy is usually associated with assertiveness, logic, and independence. You Always see the masculine in men and women as we work, go for things, and when we use our brains. It is often seen as more dominant than feminine energy, which is associated with empathy, intuition, and nurturing. Now imagine of men was always in our feelings, didn’t take initiative, and wasn’t as helpful as we were taught to be.

Masculine energy is the side of your being that is responsible for taking action. This originates in the thinking process. In order to act, we need to decide. In order to decide, we need confidence in our decision making process and in our ability to follow through on our decision. If we lack confidence, we will tend to hesitate to make decisions. As well, if we don’t want to follow through on a particular decision, we procrastinate making the decision. If we don’t make decisions in due time, we won’t act and without action life begins to stagnate.

If you find yourself stuck or uninspired in any area of your life, it may be a result of a lack of masculine energy. Developing a masculine side means finding the confidence to promptly decide your best options and then take action. Doing so isn’t possible if there is no connection to your feminine side. You gain confidence in two primary ways: through trusting your feelings and from experiences as a result of acting.

Women shine and are loved in their perspective nature. Feminine energy is seen as more passive than masculine energy, but in reality, both energies are necessary for a balanced and healthy life. That’s why we have to understand this on many levels. There are roles for a reason so we can get all we want out of life. We know money isn’t everything and the all be all. Even the rich have problems. Everyone is really on this love journey, they want to be enough, and they want to understand the opposite sex. The more we don’t understand and go by what society defines as masculine, and femine instead of sticking to the blue print we will all fail at love. Why make a blueprint to not follow?

I mentioned before Both men and women have access to masculine and feminine energies, and its true. Though individuals may express these energies in different ways, It’s important to note that there is no one "right" way to express these energies, and individuals should feel free to embrace and express whichever energies they feel most comfortable with. Although what is important to remember is control. We are free to express but how we express matters. Who wants to listen to someone talking to them as if they have no worth at all? I wouldn’t.

Individual inability to change is also a a very big obstacle that many couples encounter. Even when both partners recognize the need for a balance of energies in their relationship, change is not always easy. Some people are just stuck in their ways, how many times have you reminded someone to remember your concerns, or someone just over expressing.

It can be challenging for someone who has always acted in a particular way – as either overly masculine or overly feminine – to shift their behavior. This can lead to of frustration or even resentment between partners. So due diligence is need to control and be aware of your own masculine and feminine energy.

I simply believe that many people do not receive the necessary education or guidance needed to manage these energies effectively nor care to know. They may not even realize the impact their behavior has on their partner’s energy, and as a result they do not know what to do. Wouldn’t even know how to adjust in a way that allows both partners to achieve what they want. Which is simply love mutually. That unity every dreams of.

To achieve balance, it’s important to know women bring the emotions out of men. Usually we are being us until a woman comes along. Now we are superman. Life is organized, money coming in, feeling on top of the world. Then all of a sudden, she becomes Lex Luther and slaps us with our package kryptonite. Couples need to learn how to embrace each other’s energy and work together to create an environment that allows both partners to bring their most authentic selves to the table. It’s crucial to recognize that there is no "right" way to be masculine or feminine, and it’s essential to approach each other’s energy with respect and understanding.

We can clearly see society's evolving understanding of what it means to be masculine and feminine which sucks. I'm sure we all miss when things were more natural and simple. The way things are now can pose challenges to relationships in a big way but not insurmountable ones.

By understanding gender roles, the unique energies we each bring to the table, control and understanding of these energies we can strengthen the bonds of our partnerships and create healthy, balanced relationships that last.
