Second Life

A Poem

We’d hug, we’d kiss, we’d fight, we’d hiss we’d break up and go our ways this was the story of my love for many, many days So many faces, tears and pain they came but now they’re gone from sunny days to heavy rain but I’d never find “the one”

I gave up looking, sank my head true love must be a myth there’s too much pain, my poor heart bled I lost my faith in it Then we crossed paths, two different worlds two lonely, bleeding hearts strangers whom the fate has bound six thousand miles apart

I crossed the sea, I left my home a journey never seen a distant call, my love reborn a sudden destiny For once I knew what I had to do my cold heart you revived you found me in my darkest times gave me a second life
