Seasonal Haiku
It’s haiku season!
I laughed out loud reading Terry Mansfield’s Explosive Haiku in the WOTWU-publication. I have finished more haiku (the plural of Haiku is Haiku) than I have finished any woodworking projects, so I thought to create some here. I know writing these is great fun. There’s something immensely satisfying to be able to convey a message in this poetic form. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did writing them.

I usually neglect to make any seasonal references, which is supposed to be part of a Haiku. That’s about to change. On the other hand: I’m sure I’m breaking some rules by writing a cohesive set of 4 haiku. Spoiler: you are about to embark on a journey through life in a year of Haiku.
Spring
A spring in my step
And love is all around us
It must be the spring
Summer
The temperature!
A DJ plays The Fresh Prince
The summer hits now!
Autumn
All the leaves turn brown
My hair wishes for colour
It’s receding now
Winter
The end is nearing
A Stark truth, wouldn’t you say?
Winter is coming
Thank you for reading
I hope you liked some of these
To me it was fun
