Sea and Sky
A poem with commentary
As Earth I fled the continents for the sea. The thickness of rock did not protect me From the evermore pig-headed densities Of the two-legged ones. It was the chit-chat — You see — chit-chatting about the trends That forced me out. Let us not be confronted
With their ugliness and focus instead on the seas’ Supporting land/land supporting sea and sky, Oh my. I flow as love flows along currents Rich and strange searching without aim For my mate; heels and feet in ocean’s depths. Am I on lands to be free, erasing debt?
Cast them out, cast them out, Oh you know what I talk about, When I see skies over me at night, Is this love at first sight? Embrace of star’s a light, drench me With thine light and remember who I am:
Reflect do I the light of love in the sky, She embraces me all around the sphere I ebb and flow in her gentle light caresses, My bio-illuminesses drifting ebb and flow Against pristine shores and at sea.
The light strings from stars illuminate my depths, I feel the light draw me up into the skies to touch Lights of stars — where stars of skies and ocean depths Exchange places. are these embraces? Stars of skies and my oceans deep blend with shared light And we Rise in mists, ground fog, and marine layer fog on-high.
Light in my waters, reign down caress the lands in showers Of mist, and rain — oh there are so many forms imbued with light My waters and star’s embrace feathered touches on land trace The water in all living creatures there and keeps alive the dirt With water, love, and light. Even the shadows have light, In this I rejoice in the love and light of stars and seas
Reclaiming the innocence of all Earth, Water, Sea, Light and Love!
I have been thinking of inclusivity of late. Inspired by the poems of Dr. Bettina Sieber🍎 of feeling I am both man and sea, making Earth and Sea people play with as children play, letting loose my imagination coupled with my feelings — and emotions. I feel the wideness of an inclusive consciousness of love and light.
I was switching back and forth between singular love and a Walt Whitman wildness of love for all of nature, planets, suns, and stars. Reclaiming lands with a light touch and stewardship for the soil and what grows there.
The feeling of sacredness for all beings of land and sea and stars in the night sky.
May your heart find the light of grand love and include all beings big and small. I feel you and I are sacred beings shepherding a new planet.
Blessings, Passion, and Grace on your journey. May whatever your looking for — find you.
