“Screw it. Let’s Do it.”
Inspiration. What inspires you? If you visualize it, can you achieve it? I’m betting you can.
I came across the above quote by Sir Richard Branson recently and it got me thinking.
Mostly it got me thinking about the numerous posts I have seen on popular social media sites.
You know the quotes, they all go something like this. “I’m bored.” “I hate being at home.” “I didn’t sign up for this.” “I’ve already eaten all my quarantine snacks.” “I finished Netflix.”
When did we all stop dreaming? Doesn’t anybody read books anymore that can take them on adventures to faraway lands? That wouldn’t be boring.
During this time of crisis, or quarantine or self-time, shouldn’t we reflect inward? What about our diets? Are there some small changes we can make to build up our immune system against viruses?
Let’s take a few moments and dig deep into our brain housing group. Let’s reopen those dreams we had. Dust them off, refine them. Refocus and give it the love and desire it deserves. Chase your dream like it’s the ice cream truck that just passed your house and it’s heading towards the corner, never to be seen again. You know, as you did when you were a kid.
They’re your dreams, go get em, chase em down, and live them.
You won’t be bored and you certainly won’t care what’s on tv, you’ll be too busy.
