Scenes from an evening escapade

Lay down and breathe deep Arch the small of your back

Close your eyes now And slowly fill your lungs

Once you sat on my lap I will never forget

how close our bodies felt the sensation of being near

You looked back at my eyes I slid my hands around your waist

Subtle moves to onlookers but to us, oh so clear

Rock your body slowly as I tell you a story

one without words but with many a feeling

It will touch you inside in places you keep hidden

and once they’ve broke open your emotions will need healing

I stood up slowly and took you by the hand

We slipped out the back without a word that we were leaving

What felt like moments later we made our way inside

Barely closing the door we dove headlong into evening

You have come a long way please meet me here again

If you ever need to exhale or cry I am wont to provide a shoulder

With that look in your eye and the slight curl of your smile

I hope you come again soon it’s so warm inside

and the days

just keep getting
