Just tell them what they want to hear, they want it to be true.

Just tell them what they want to hear, it makes life easy for them.

Just tell them what they want to hear, you can make illicit deals.

Just tell them what they want to hear, you can avoid paying your taxes.

Just tell them what they want to hear, you can feather your own nest.

Just tell them what they want to hear, you can give your friends contracts.

Just tell them what they want to hear, when you become unpopular you can even start a war; Just tell them what they want to hear.
