Salvation is a heart change, not a head change. We need to go beyond simply accepting God with our minds. We must believe in Him from our hearts. Satan believes in God, but does not serve Him. As Biblical Christians, we need to accept God as both our Savior and our Lord with our hearts. This acceptance begins from within but is demonstrated by a changed life.

James 2:18–19 — But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe — and shudder!
