Summary

The website content is a poetic reflection on nature's resilience and the interconnectedness of life, emphasizing the cyclical nature of existence and humanity's place within it.

Abstract

The text presents a contemplative piece titled "Sacred Cycles" under the theme of "Nature Musings," which poetically explores the enduring rhythms of nature as observed through the behavior of red-winged blackbirds by Echo Lake. It draws parallels between the life cycles in nature, such as the transformation of seeds into their respective forms, and the spiritual journey of human souls. The author, inspired by the lockdown's impact on nature and the subsequent "Great Purge" initiated by Earth, advocates for a conscious shift in human behavior to align with the principles of love, care, and respect for all life forms. The piece concludes with an invitation to readers to join a community that celebrates and reflects on the transformative experiences of hiking and connection with the outdoors.

Opinions

  • The author believes in the existence of a "God-gene" that generates godliness in humans, akin to the natural processes observed in the reproduction and growth of plants and animals.
  • There is an opinion that the lockdown period served as a "Great Purge" by Mother Nature, correcting imbalances caused by human activity and teaching humanity a lesson about coexistence.
  • The text suggests that life is a series of cycles, and that karma ensures that actions come full circle, reinforcing the idea that what goes around comes around.
  • The author expresses optimism about moving past precarious times into a "Renewal timeline," implying a hopeful future where humans live more consciously and harmoniously with nature.
  • The piece conveys a strong message about the importance of learning from past mistakes and embracing a lifestyle that honors and preserves the natural world.

While resting beside Echo lake,

A thriving refuge tucked aside from concrete carvings,

I am summoned to attention by two red-winged black birds.

He perches atop a winter-withered reed.

She plunges deep into the safe bosom of branches and stays.

The primordial rhythm endures,

Echoing the sacred cycle,

Set in motion by bits of stardust

Burst from the verdant void before time.

Bird eggs into birds.

Pear seeds into pear trees.

Nut seeds into nut trees.

Human seeds into humans.

God seed into God.

In humans,

God-gene generates godliness.

Like red-winged black birds

Hatching eggs,

Human souls echo the same cycle:

Return, return, return.

Return to God seed,

To brood and bear.

Author’s Note: While soaking in the Sun this past week, me and my best buddies were reminiscing about the times when the world came to a screeching halt when the lock down had just been imposed in March earlier this year, prompting the mankind to mend the extravagant ways and forcing us all to adopt a rather minimal, no frills, yet optimized living. The social animal that man is, felt caged and imprisoned, held captive against the will. On the contrary, We got to see so many stunning visuals of the wild animals from forests and beyond wandering off in the streets. We can all reach a consensus upon how safe they must have felt to venture out in the absence of us humans!

That was the onset of the “Great Purge” by Mama Earth, correcting the imbalances caused by humankind over the years, subsequently accumulating in the sacred heart-space of our planet.

Mother Nature being a benevolent yet stern teacher, took it upon herself to teach her non cooperative students, us humans, a lesson.

Karma is pretty real. Life comes full circle. The parable of what goes around comes around is ridiculously true.

Lessons learned, beloved mama, Lessons learned!

Hopefully, We won’t return to our old haggard ways of approaching life but embrace a conscious choice of holding every vital force, living/non-living alike with utmost love and care.

I affirm, that we have moved past the precarious times and are now stepping straight into a Renewal timeline and by thinking about it alone gets me all pumped up and excited. Besides, each time I greet the changing hues of Sun, it gets me and my throat chakra in a jovial mood and I sing my lungs out.
