Runaway

As long your beside me, I know we will be okay.

We should leave, gone from these restraints, All our friends and family, keep saying we aren’t good for each other. If only they could see what we saw in each other, But they keep trying to tear us apart.

Maybe it times for a new start, away from the scorn, I know it won’t be easy but I am tired of being told we’re no good. We have tried every option, showed them our love and faith, But they still won’t accept it, So let’s go.

Off to our new chapter, no more holding out, As long as we’re together, I know we will be okay. I don’t know how this will end, whether it will be a tragedy or a delight, But I know I will be happy, as long your beside me.
