“Work is killing me”, “These people are getting on my last nerves”, “No one here seems to want to talk to me”, “Why do I have so much work for this pay?” Man! I feel you. Work can be a pain in the feathers and gives the ending of our day more anticipation than the stimulus checks of 2020.

The daily hustles of life can put major weights on our shoulders both mentally and physically. Everything seems to be against you and little is going for you. Trust me I know so I decided to find a solution that works.

I just vibe my way through. “Lol, you do what?”

Yep, you got that right. I vibe my way through work. Here is what I do:

  1. I am always humming my favorite song in my head. For centuries, hard workers (like you and me) have been singing and moving those arms in the fields and streams all over the world. If you need to rock your head and do your work then do it! Build a little vibe for yourself
  2. Go hour by hour- I see you staring at that clock and I know what you are thinking “I can’t wait for lunchtime or to go home.” Sometimes the workflow might be slow and you don’t have much to do. What I do is look at things hour by hour. I tell myself “It’s 2:00 so it will be 3:00 soon” and do that for each hour. Before you know it, it’s time for you to leave.
  3. If Youtube is allowed then watch some documentaries on some important events. I find that it fits the work mood greatly and helps you to be engaged while finishing up your work. Plus, you are learning something new.
  4. Set sunshine and green pastures for your computer background picture- The sight of sunshine in front of your computer, especially if you work in an environment away from the sun, is a great mood booster.

If none of these work, then stay positive and stay motivated. Think about good thoughts and dance around if you have to. The worst you can get called is crazy and we both know you just vibing.
