Roll the Dice
Paper Poetry Prompt # 3 : Roll the Dice

Champagne and stars intoxicate the night, black tie rsvp required, his fragrance lingers, the band romances, like a magnet pulling me closer,
and he might as well cash in his chips, spin the wheel, roll the dice,
Somehow I can feel it in my bones, this will be his lucky night.

Note: It was fun writing this original poem, then featuring it with my original handwriting on fancy stationery. A thought popped in my head that resulted in the image below, my original words written with a script art format on Canva, superimposed on an inspired photo courtesy of Unsplash. Just for fun. Just wish I could write this calligraphy.
