Road to Diamond — Episode 2
This is not how you continue a series — at least I added a new section.

“Do not fear the shrouded path” — Zed, the Master of Shadows.
Yeah, thanks, Zed! I know that my way to Diamond is a challenging one. It has to be. Otherwise, how would I celebrate the results?
This is one of Zed’s quotes, and it fits perfectly for today’s episode — This is not how you continue a series.

The first episode was positive because I managed to end the session in a favorable territory.
This is not the case for the second one.
The second gaming session was with the potential to finish with a good amount of LP. But the struggles, challenge to keep my composure, the mistakes, the frustrations, and the LP loss made this episode one of those in which I have to admit I lost the battle.¹
But not the war, mate, because my Diamond is still shining and waiting for me to get it.²

Look at it and notice how beautiful it is!
Summary of the games
I had a good start in every game.

But also, I have made considerable mistakes repeatedly.
I don’t want to blame anyone.
But I will do this, even though they say that in League of Legends, the one to blame is only yourself.
I started the session with a loss again and got my league points back with a win, but then I lost them again.
It is frustrating, I know!
Game 1

I had that kind of start when I knew it would be an easy match. Imagine I had five kills in the fifth minute.
At that moment, I was fed enough to carry the game.
Instead of carrying it, I lost it because I insisted on helping the bottom lane even though my support was a flamer and my ADC was weaker than a minion.
I should’ve taken advantage of my lead and helped the other lanes — not top because he was losing hard also, but mid. He was better. Plus, it was Vladimir. This champion is a beast in the late game.

While focusing on the bottom lane, their Jungler took kills on the other lanes and got fed enough to carry the enemy team to victory.
Game 2

Again, great start.
I got a kill in minute two of the game by helping my Botlane allies. It could have been better if I hadn’t missed my flash trying to escape.
Shit happens from time to time.
The problem is sometimes, it can have a significant impact on the game.
Anyway, I failed a lot of my ganks. So, I fed the enemy team a lot. Until minute 18, when the enemy team started to throw the game, I was nobody in the game, just a feeder (it is hard to admit it). People report you for this.
Gladly, Nocturne, even though he was fed, he threw their game, and they started making numerous mistakes. I took the opportunity and punished them for each of their mistakes. We managed this as a result of playing the game as a team.³
Imagine League of Legends is a team game, and sometimes you get amazed you should play it as a team…
Even with our efforts, they still managed to open our Nexus. They needed one more successful fight to finish us.
Fortunately, they didn’t get the chance because we killed Baron, pushed hard, and finished the game.
The final was outstanding! I had the play of the match and also of the day, which I will share later.
Game 3

This was one of those games where I got enough kills to carry, but I made stupid plays enough to throw the game.
I played it with my friend, but it was not the best decision. I should’ve played it alone.⁴
I felt pressured by the need to win. I wanted to end the session with an LP gain. That led me to make mistakes.⁵
They played more organized.
Victory deserved for them.
I started the day with 52 LP and ended it with 30. That’s it. I hope the next session will bring more.
At least I got a beautiful play of the day.
The Play of the Day
It happened in the second game, the one I have won. If that play didn’t happen, they would have closed the match in their favor. It is my third quadra kill of the season, and I love it. Just give it a watch.
