Right Wing Extremist Demands “Final Solution” for Transgenderism

CPAC speaker declares, “Transgenderism must be eradicated”

If there was ever any question that queer and trans folk in America are in a struggle for our survival, a bigoted tirade delivered last weekend at the annual meeting of the Conservative Political Action Committee should put all lingering doubts to rest.

In today’s America, hatred no longer hides under a white robe and hood. Hatred stands at a microphone, clean-shaven, in slicked-back hair, wearing a finely tailored suit.

Behold the slab of red-meat handsome, dapper, youthful Yale grad Michael Knowles, representing Ben Shapiro’s media slime pool Daily Wire, tossed out to the blood-thirsty CPAC crowd…

There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. It is all or nothing.

Look out, folks, here comes the pretzel logic…

If transgenderism is true, if men really can become women, then it’s true for everybody of all ages. If transgenderism is false, as it is, and men really can’t become women, as they cannot, it’s false for everybody, too. And, if it’s false, then we should not indulge it.

A supportive boil in the audience was bubbling up at this point.

Knowles continues…

Especially when that indulgence requires taking away the rights and customs of so many people.

(Exactly what Knowles means by this statement, whose rights are being taken by the very existence in society of trans folk, no one really knows. But an audience that consumes grievance like kettle corn at the county fair was eating it up!)

And here’s where a little dash of mustache under the speaker’s Pinocchio nose would have made the perfect punctuation mark…

If it is false, then for the good of society and especially the poor people who have fallen prey to this confusion, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely… the whole preposterous ideology, at every level.

By now, the slavering crowd was on its feet, cheering and applauding.

These words are not simply expressions of intolerance that, although despicable, should be protected under the First Amendment. They are an unambiguous call to action. Michael Knowles was shouting fire in a crowded theater. Such incendiary speech should not be Constitutionally protected.

And, if state governments prove to be too slow on the draw, or too timid in their anti-trans legislation, Knowles has declared that he and his fellow haters will not wait a moment longer.

Michael Knowles tossed a lighted match onto a pile of kindling that was already primed with kerosene. He might as well have delivered an order for mass extinction. Or, I fear, as it is most likely being heard by some Second Amendment fanatic, a demand for mass assassination.
