“Rich Dad Poor Dad” Was The Spark That Lighted Up My Writing Career.
Everyone looking to get into entrepreneurship should read that book at some point
I still remember why it was my first choice (It was easy to read and heavily recommended)
I chuckled with every new page turned.
Every concept explained opened my mind to new possibilities.
The concept that stuck the most?
The illustrations.
People remember them much easier and for me one concept stood out.
Rich people invest in assets, poor people invest in things they believe are assets but are in fact liabilities.
Shortly after I started writing on Medium.
I didn’t know it at the time, but the decision I made 7 months ago had a subconscious drive behind it.
- Every word I wrote.
- • Every article I published.
- • Every follower I’ve gained (600 now)
Was the most precious asset I created.
They become little workers for me.
Every morning I wake up excited.
Excited to see how my little minions are doing.
Each of them gathered a penny, a quarter, a dollar.
It all depended on how people perceived the value of my assets.
To me…They are priceless.
Raise your assets like a proud parent would raise a kid.
- Take care of it,
- Show the world how great they are
- Nurture them to become a valuable part of society
The end goal?
Have as many of them as possible…
Be like an ant queen and create a colony of little workers.
Thanks for reading!
