Response Back From the Curators

Regarding my question.

I couldn't take it any longer.

I consulted every article I could, both from writers and Medium itself, as to what was an obvious oversight. I googled it and re-googled it.

I simply had to ask them, so I wrote the curators.

After almost two hundred stories published in Medium, I needed to know the answer.

Almost all of them were tagged “writing” with a second tag of “humor.” I wondered, with that many entries, why did I not receive any recognition in the categories of writing or humor?

I thought their answer was a bit terse, bordering on insensitive, but they said that first, I had to write a piece that qualified as either writing or humor.
