Renewal – A Poem

New year….new YOU?

Photo by Oksana Taran on Unsplash

Before the year ends, let’s reflect and grow,

Forgive the hurt, let it all go.

Take a break, find peace in rest,

Release the burdens that weigh on your chest.

Practice gratefulness, count your blessings,

Each lesson learned, each life’s impressions.

Do that one thing you’ve postponed,

Achieve what you’ve longed for, make it known.

If plans went astray, don’t be dismayed,

Restart, reinvent, a fresh slate is laid.

Detach from pain, hold onto joy,

Embrace the good times, let them buoy.

Spend time with loved ones, create memories,

Cherish the moments, like treasured stories.

Before the year ends, let’s make it count,

With love, gratitude, and happiness, paramount.

Hope you liked the poem.
