Remember Tua for this amazing play, not just for his scary injury.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made perhaps the most famous play in Alabama football history when he threw a 41-yard pass to DeVonta Smith to win the national championship against Georgia in 2018.

What made the walk-off touchdown pass all the more remarkable was that Tagovailoa was a freshman who had never started in a college game and had seldom played that season. He took the field only after coach Nick Saban made what looked to some like a desperate decision to bench Jalen Hurts with the Crimson Tide down 13–0 at the half.

Now out of the hospital, the Miami Dolphins quarterback deserves to be known not just for his recent, horrific concussion but for the soaring athleticism of his game-winning pass to Smith. Watch it here:
