The Solution to All Your Problems is Remembering That We Are Souls

When you stay connected to your true nature, your problems will fade away

Do you feel lost? You’re composed of pure consciousness, but it’s so easy to forget this. We all do. As a result of our disconnection from who we really are, lots of confusion happens. It’s the reason you feel terrible. It’s the root of all your problems. If you could just remember that you’re a soul experiencing this physical life, then you’d have a much easier time.

When you’re disconnected from the fact that you’re a soul, these things happen:

You’re stressed. You’re angry. You’re at wit’s end. You feel a sense of despair.

All of these reactions to your life are happening, but they don’t have to. When you distance yourself from your true nature, you feel like you’re free-falling — and not in a good way.

The feeling of connection to the world and to yourself tethers you to happiness. It makes you feel good and secure.

So, why do we forget who we are?

If it’s so difficult to live in disconnection from the knowingness of being a soul, then why do we all do it? Why do we put ourselves through this?

Well, it’s not easy to maintain a connection to the truth when our lives are full of distractions, temptations, and messages trying to convince us otherwise.

Since childhood, we are bombarded by voices and information telling us that we are separate beings, we must fend for ourselves, and we’re at the mercy of the cruel universe.

We have so much to fear in life, or so we’re taught. There is so much to rail against and to worry about — like disease, loss, poverty, and death. I sometimes wonder if there was ever a time in human history when the norm was to live in total love with the flow of life, embracing these things as gifts instead of threats.

It also takes work to stay in remembrance of your true nature because it flies in the face of everything presented in our physical lives. Our senses tell us that we are in a body that is totally separated from other bodies and the rest of the universe. So, why would we question this knowledge, since our senses seem pretty reliable?

Our inner knowing can tell us the truth. Intuition and meditation gives us certainty of the oneness.

We are all one, despite what our senses tell us.

It takes dedication.

To stay in perfect bliss, you must adopt a meditation practice. Let your mind find its a priori knowledge at least once a day. Let yourself drift into silence and soak up the calm and deep connection. You will meet yourself over and over again. You’ll be sure of who you really are — a soul. The more you meditate, the easier it will be to take this knowledge with you into your day.

Your life will transform into a beautiful series of experiences where even the blockages seem perfect.

It isn’t easy. For many people, this activity is difficult and even painful at first, and many give it up after a short time. The attachment to our separateness is so strong that it’s hard work to break it. We’ve convinced ourselves that there are more important things than the connection to the soul, and the ego will fight to stay in that paradigm.

Our minds struggle to accept that all the things we worry about all day are actually preventing us from living fully. So, the mind is difficult to calm.

It requires dedication and persistence. Keep going, and in time, your connection and oneness will pervade your life.

It is the most important thing you can be doing.

What could be more important than meeting yourself and staying in that loving awareness?

There’s no better time than now.

Close your eyes and just sit. What better time is there than right now? Let yourself go into your inner stillness. Find the answer to the questions you seek there.

Understand that within you, none of the things you’re worrying about can touch you, unless you let them.

Start meditating five minutes at a time, and work up to thirty minutes a day, then an hour. Keep going! Sooner than you realize, you’ll be looking forward to your meditation time every day.

Go on, meet yourself.
