Relating Life to Carnival Rides

Life for me is like going to a carnival and trying out different rides.

Roller coaster — in just a blink of an eye you could rapidly be facing various situations. You could not make it stop, it just keeps moving forward even though you don’t want it to anymore. You can scream all you want! You can cry if you feel like it but it won’t stop for you. Life won’t stay still just for you. I had lost my father unexpectedly when I was fifteen. I wanted time to stop or pause for a while because I didn’t know how I will be able to handle it. But, I had to keep moving forward because I was already being left behind. I needed to catch my breath and up with what was in store for me. I rode with screams and cries. I even shouted my parents’ names several times but I had to face everything with all I had, I have to be responsible for my own life.

Ferris wheel — this ride might seem boring for some. It takes time for you to be up and see the beautiful view that the Universe has to offer. Then finally when you’re at the top, you’ll soon be going down again. This is life, sometimes we are at the peak of our success then we suddenly break.
