Reinvent Yourself, Boost Your Income: Is it Time for a Bold Change?
Tired of the Same Old Grind?

It can be any kind of reinvention, of course. Maybe you’ve fallen madly in love with someone and had an eye-opening experience, maybe you’ve broken up with someone, except today we’re going to talk about reinventing yourself professionally.
Reinventing or reorienting yourself professionally means practically the same thing. To reinvent yourself, you need to consider changing. You can’t have one without the other. Reinvention means change.
No matter how much we like a particular job or if it ends up boring us, the brain will always remain set on “new”.
Somehow it’s his way of saying he’s plateaued and needs something improved or better in order to function within normal parameters.
We feed on everything new to us, we absorb it like a sponge, because if we had not been thirsty for “new”, we certainly would not have left the caves thousands of years ago.
People fear change out of habit, out of concern of not feeling good enough in a particular area, or not knowing where to start progressing and how.
But progress, like it or not, happens. If not for us, it happens in technology, science, and other areas where there may be a real need for a different level of personnel or even better-trained personnel.

The professions that most of us have developed over time have become an integral part of our lives, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hold on to something better than that or think it is a good idea to let one profession dictate our lives entirely.
When you see that the title next to your name no longer aligns with your expectations and desires, then your brain screams at the top of its lungs: CHANGE! And then you know it’s really about change.
Where do you start the process of career reorientation if all you know is that you want something new? Here’s what you can consider when thinking about a second career.
(Consider that sometimes you need to change the environment, people, and location to be truly happy and fulfilled career-wise.)
The Source of Dissatisfaction

There’s no point in messing your world up if you have no idea why you’re really doing this. The best advice, first of all, is to think about your whole career path and what was behind your initial decision. Analyze this for a moment.
Did you end up here because it was your parents’ decision and wish, because it was in demand, or because you thought it would really fulfill you? Answer this question.
Whatever the reason, the source must be found. Only then you would know if you really need something else. That is, to act on another desire of yours, another decision.
If the nature of your workplace doesn’t resonate with your intentions and desires, to the point that you think with annoyance and grief about the next day at work, then a change is necessary and worth considering.
And if it has nothing to do with your daily responsibilities, but rather with your work schedule and salary, then solutions must be found. You know there is no middle ground.
You can’t stay unhappy for a few more years. The power of decision is definitely yours.
Solutions and Active Search for Ideas

According to a study, 85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 have not yet been invented. So you can say that you have no limit to your career development possibilities.
You can start with small, steady steps. Think about what you like, what you would like to do, and what you could change to be more fulfilled than you are now.
See if you can move to something related to your current field that would satisfy your desire for change.
If not, consider different options and assess the requirements for accessing such opportunities, like attending a new college, obtaining certifications or taking courses, relocating to a new city, etc. As I mentioned before, perhaps it’s time to consider a change of city and social circles.
Don’t be afraid, because this may even be the change you need to stop falling into the trap of job dissatisfaction and thus manage to progress and why not, to learn new things and not to fall into a rut.
Oh and give up preconceived ideas, be more flexible!
Where to Start the Change

WAKE UP EARLY — If you want to reinvent yourself, then invest more time in yourself; so wake up earlier!
To achieve personal and professional growth and make major changes, it is necessary to be active. Get used to getting up early and productively starting your day.
Engage in activities like reading, writing, documenting, playing sports, or any other interest that fills you with energy and motivation to pursue your dreams.
MEET PEOPLE WHO INSPIRE YOU — I guess you know that the people you hang out with most often are the ones who can change your mood and trajectory in life.
If you have the right people around you, then know that you can be highly motivated and inspired. They can give you an incredible boost. Most people with extraordinary careers would be more than happy to answer your questions.
ALWAYS LEARNING — Reinventing yourself is not so easy, because it requires you to learn things you didn’t know before or to start from scratch with certain things. But don’t be afraid, anything is possible as long as you have confidence in yourself.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT — Even if you move on from one chapter of your life and start a new one, you don’t have to make a fixed and irrevocable decision. Try to do things differently, without being afraid or thinking you won’t succeed. Look at everything as a test and see what the results are.
DON’T JUSTIFY YOURSELF TO ANYONE AND GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE — Many people give up the idea of change for fear of being judged by others. Your choices are nobody’s business but your own. They are your personal decisions that do not affect others.
And if until now you’ve been afraid to sign up for that course, publish an article online, or sell that creation that took you hours to create, do it. It’s time to press ENTER with no regrets and you’ll see how many paths will open up for you.
DON’T BE AFRAID OF FAILURE — You know very well that failure is part of success. Be patient and adapt to situations without fear, because when one door closes, another will open. It’s part of the process.
In the end, all I know is that you don’t need a few more years to decide on your career, because you can dedicate your time to a much more fulfilling and beautiful experience that will develop you in every way.
If you know this is what you need, then do it without hesitation. Your time is now. Don’t be afraid of options.
