Reflections on Water in a Botanical Garden
Landscapes can sometimes bear a resemblance to paintings due to the exquisite beauty of nature
“In order to reflect, think and plan, you must quiet yourself. You can’t see your reflection in churning waters. Water must be still to see your reflection.” ― Karen Hantze Susman
As my daughter and I leisurely walked through the botanical gardens, we found ourselves immersed in the beauty of the day.
My daughter’s attention was captivated by the picturesque scene unfolding before us — the gazebo positioned perfectly to offer a breathtaking view.
The tranquil water mirrored the surrounding trees, creating a stunning reflection.
The gazebo itself stood proudly on the edge of the Azalea Garden, granting us a vantage point to appreciate the enchanting allure of the Aquatic Garden.
Thanks to Dennett for the fabulous prompt.
I would like to shout out these lovely and inspiring pieces by Inge E. Knudsen and Krista Bennett.
