Red Queen
A Poem
You licked the blood from your fingers like you were eating ripe red cherries bursting from your lips the bruises still burning on my hips.
In the bed of your truck, the wind whistled in this type of lust was my favorite sin a Scorpio moon shining on your bare skin mixing with the wild moans of a creature within.
The look in your eyes like you’d devour every stitch of me a present moment buzz staining permanent history just two lost lovers discovering their salient chemistry.
Enamored by the taste of your flesh I dig my teeth in deep darling, there is no time for sleep and these memories I will keep —
Downloaded to my brain where only the gory pleasures remain these primal desires impossible to tame as your ruby lips quiver with a whisper of my name.
