SCBWI writing prompts
Red Door № 52
Day 5 of retroactive exercise to finish the 31 days.

Daily prompts inspire writers to be creative. They help get the creative juices flowing.
As I searched for an image to go with today’s prompt, which is Red Door, I came across this image which, in itself, is an exercise in creativity.
Someone has used the image of the door with a number on it to create a 52nd birthday card. The image is tagged with “birthday card” besides other tags like door, red, and elegant.
You never know how the muse will show up to help you be creative. As long as you’re open minded and willing to accept surprises, she will show up.
Day five of retroactive participation in SCBWI’s daily prompts for the month of May. I started on the 8th of May after coming across Amy Marley’s creations. Amy has compiled the creations by her friends in this story below.
As always, thank you for reading and responding.
