‘Reciprocal Could Save My Writing Care

This is a thank you to Reciprocal

I have been writing on Medium for a little over a year. I admit to feeling defeated for a time or two. I stopped writing for a few months.

It is hard to write on Medium. It was hard for me because I have already co-authored five books and one of my own with Professional Woman Network.

So, I kind of thought I was a writer. But few people read my articles.

I finally figured writing has evolved into storytelling. But even when I wrote stories, I got few reads. When you are new here nobody reads your stuff except maybe family and a few friends.

I then wrote, “I Lay Dying on My Laundry Room Floor”. It brought the highest views and reads so far. But it did not break any records.

This is why I appreciate Sahil Patel so much for this publication. Now I may not die on Medium.

I have also enjoyed reading other works by Annie Trevaskis, Debika Kumari, Ilana Lydia, and Donnette Anglin.

I look forward to writing for this publication and to connecting with other writers. I am not a social butterfly but more like the caterpillar in the cocoon. Be gentle with me, please.

I enjoy reading poetry. This poem by Sahil Patel is exceptional. It is entitled, I Am An Artist.

Thank you for reading.
