And evocations.

Caught and captured in consciousness Thoughts fraught from the past Some unwanted some of joy Memories that last.

Indelible and lasting Reminders and recollections Written on a mind tablet A selection of reflections.

Clouded and unclear The memory of distortion Washed by the mind waves Of latent evocation.

Influencing thought patterns Avoiding fears and pain Reignites the memory And reoccur again.

The treadmill of the mind Recreating the past patterns So intricately defined Light from bygone lanterns.

Moulding who I am And which road to take The path of least resistance Leads to the Silver Lake.

Metaphysical and paranormal An apparition given merit The conjurer of the soul Powers of the magic spirit.

Giving no forewarning No handed-out invitations The visitors of the mind Recalls and evocations.
