Reassess and Motivate Your Life — Your MVP

The most valuable player in your life — guess who it is? Yeah. It’s you. You have to make the important decisions. You have the final say. There are a lot of people who look to others to validate the things that they do and we have been taught that is as it should be. You need to have the ‘okay” from a source outside of yourself — in people I’m talking about. Although many of us do enjoy, anticipate and like the applause, the truth of the matter is if what you do is fulfilling you — if what you do brightens, empowers, and lifts, then if no one claps, if no one applauds, if no ne compliments you need to let that be okay. If you are fulfilled and you are complete in what you are doing, then that is what you need to be doing. You don’t have to make any apologies for it, no excuses for it, and you don’t even have to give the ‘whys’. Continue reaching to be an authentic person. The best way to do that is to be who you are. Now if you do not like who you are — change. Remember you are free. Freedom is the ability to choose. You can choose to change. You can change to become the person you truly want to be. Not an image — I’m not talking about these images. I’m not talking about branding. There is so much consumerism today that we are falling prey to because we are looking at television and letting television -faces and places on t.v. tell us what we must aspire to and it just plain is not true. One of your purposes is to live a fulfilled, complete, happy, harmonious life and only you can define what that life looks like because you live in your own skin day in — day out. Whether you are around people or not you still live with you. So, you see you are your most valuable player. You are the MVP. You are the star of the show. Express yourself. Let your creative mind be released. You are frustrated because you are trying to please everybody else — STOP! Use your freedom card. You are the star of the show and of your life. Let it sink in. Meditate on it. Realize it is true. Balance. Embrace. Live and Grow Now!

See you next time.
