Thank You Notes

Real Queens👸

Are you or any woman you know a part of this dynasty?

Sketch by the Author

Real Queens were surprised, couldn’t believe their ears and eyes When they found the world mutter Women are hateful, envious, jealous of each other! Curiosity piqued... To know the truth, into their own tribe they sneaked

They discovered that during the times turbulent When they needed support to fall back or vent It was this bunch to root for them incessant Incredible things supervene when women stand by each other sans judgement After all, 👸 Real queens fix each others crown 👑

A tribe of girlfriends is an aide-memoire, that you are capable of things extraordinaire The world may try to run you down. But they are here to fix your crown👑

Real queens do not disappear when you rise and shine They have your back, your spotlight they design They give the loudest cheer not an iota insecure This dynasty glorifies loud and clear 👸Real queens fix each others crown👑 and never pull them down

A clan of girlfriends is an oasis where you rest, reset and convalesce. If you fancy this brawny base fix someone’s crown👑 without a grimace

Lucky are the ones who have friends to brace Blessed are the queens whose crowns are fixed by queens with grace without revealing it to the world that it was not in place.

I am writing this to counter some popular beliefs that women are women’s enemies, they hate each other secretly, they are jealous of each other etc, etc.

On the contrary, it is a sanctuary where the pain is turned into power.

I demand the world to get it right and get it straight, strong women, real queens, are not hateful of each other. Not sure who created this crappy conundrum.

I have seen and am sure you might have also witnessed that there are real women out there(maybe you are the one) standing up for other women against all odds. Ode to them. They are the real queens 👸. And the world is not short of them. They are amongst us, with us, in us.

Every girl/woman has and will always need a tribe of real queens to laugh as loud, cry as often, and be unapologetic for just being oneself.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude, praise, and appreciation 🙌, to all the strong women, the real queens who fix each other’s crowns.

I am blessed to have been touched by a plethora of real queens.
