Warren Buffet spends 80% of his day reading. Sounds like a dream, right? The fact that he spends a massive amount of his day on learning and development contributes to the fact that he is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world.

We don’t need to spend 80% of our days reading books and articles, but it wouldn’t hurt to dedicate a small chunk of time each day to reading informative, empowering, and life-altering information.

Applied knowledge is power, and the more you know, the better you do at life.

Finding Time to Read — It’s Already There!

A fitting time to get some reading in is right when you wake up, which means you will probably need to wake up a bit earlier before your day begins.

Another fitting time to get in some easy reading is when you’re in the passenger seat of the car, train, Uber, Lyft, bus, or whatever means of transportation you use (maybe you ride on the back of someone’s bicycle to get to where you’re going).

The point is, we don’t need to find time to read because the time is already there! You could be waiting in line, waiting for the doctor to see you, getting your hair done, getting your nails done, experiencing a TV commercial break, or exercising. I mean, there is time — everywhere — in all of our days to capture value-added reading.
