A ghazal poem

Whenever you don’t have a clue — read. When you want to learn something new — read.
When you feel so bored out of your mind, And there is nothing else to do — read.
No matter what you might be feeling, Whether you’re happy or you’re blue — read.
When you want to explore other worlds And bid reality adieu — read.
“Megan, we’re over here on the shelf.” When they call my name, I have to read.
This is the second ghazal poem I’ve written. I’m enjoying my attempts at this form. The link below is to the first one I wrote.
