Summary

The web content is a personal narrative poem titled "Reaching Subspace" by Nikolaos Skordilis, exploring themes of surrender, submission, and love through the experience of psycholagny within a BDSM context.

Abstract

"Reaching Subspace" is a poetic reflection on the author's intimate journey into the depths of psychological submission, known as subspace, a state characterized by deep relaxation, detachment, and heightened sensations. The poem describes a consensual and tender power exchange where the author, under the guidance of their partner, experiences a profound sense of safety and surrender, leading to a dissociative state likened to a lucid dream or meditation. The author details the sensory and emotional transformation, emphasizing the absence of physical touch in achieving this altered state of consciousness, and the mutual love and trust that facilitated this rare experience, referred to as psycholagny. The poem concludes with the couple retiring to sleep, anticipating a reciprocal experience the following day.

Opinions

  • The author conveys a positive and transformative experience within the realm of BDSM, emphasizing the emotional and psychological aspects over the physical.
  • The poem suggests that psycholagny, a term used to describe the psychological submission without physical pain, is a less common but rewarding practice within the BDSM community.
  • The author expresses a deep sense of love and trust towards their partner, which is portrayed as essential for reaching subspace.
  • The experience is described as both an internal journey and a shared intimate connection, highlighting the importance of communication and consent in such encounters.
  • The author seems to value the emotional and mental headspace achieved during the experience, describing it as a form of love and a sublime trip occurring in the mind.

You said I needed to surrender you wanted me to feel how you felt I wavered but you were so tender I let go, eager in your arms to melt

It began slowly, like a trickle you used no floggers or whips at first my skin started to tickle as it reacted to your fingertips

It took a while but I felt safe soon I surrendered completely a nice break from D’s chafe I felt otherwordly, so sweetly

My breath and heartbeat dropped a notch lower I think than deep meditation though my hair rose my netherbits did not then I started to sense a separation

It was like I was both asleep and awaken as if I was experiencing a lucid dream I started to float, unless I was mistaken no thoughts, feelings came in a stream

A stream both calm and wild as was my state by and large suddenly, as you shyly smiled the tickles and tingles came back

You told me I should close my eyes you never touched me there it felt unnecessary to my surprise I didn’t need to nor I cared

I felt sinking inside the soft bed and floating at the same time the best trip occurred in my head I felt loved, it was so sublime

I believe I dissociated for a spell left my body, peeked from above I saw a blissful man who was swell and wore a silly smile like a glove

His partner barely touched him when she did electric jolts formed he was now an object of her whim malleable, in her hands transformed

Time itself seemed to have stopped I felt reaching something like oneiroxi like a teen, before my cherry popped my netherbits were full of moxie

You said this was rather rare psycholagny I think you called it a new word I was not aware you seemed proud we pulled it

After that we retired and slept together, embraced and cuddled ‘tomorrow is my turn’ you said as in each other’s arms we puddled
